Hi everybody. News, Freebie, Allison's Song.

Have you been over to Digital Scrapbooking Studio yet to check out the Birthday Bash they have going on. I can't believe that it's been a year since I won one of the designer spots in their Next Designer Contest. There are alot of great free mini kits entered so far this year, go over and grab a few. I downloaded all of them so far, and believe it or not, I created a layout with each of the kits. I will have to post some of them later.

It's been a while. I have been spending some time putting the finishing touches on a couple of kits, working on a new blog design, putting together a new newsletter, and making plans for the blog. It is official, I will be back on October 2nd. I can't wait! Thank you to everyone for all of your best wishes and prayers. They were very welcome and needed. Thankfully, everything seems to be going great, and my health is about as good as it can get.

Fall is going to be here before we know it. I have been coming up with ideas for some fall and winter kits. After the latest hot spell that we have been having, and the 'hot flashes' that I've been having, I can't wait until the cool weather gets here. I love evenings when I can sit down and sip on a nice cup of hot cocoa with one of my afghans wrapped around me. So my freebie today has a hint of fall colors helping you to get into the mood for the seasons that are coming soon.

Since I'm wishing for the fall, I decided to call this mini-kit, Wishing.

The downloads are on Media Fire.

Here is a layout that I did of my daughter Allison.

Allison has been writing some songs and singing them. She has a few videos on You Tube and she has an audition on Rock Control. Recently she wrote a song, Fallen. I liked it and asked her if I could do a slide show to go along with her vocals and she said that I could. I also asked her if I could share it with you guys and she said yes to that also.

You can see more of Allison's videos on her YouTube. She has another song that she wrote and sang called "Maybe" posted on there. She also has a video on Rock Control.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!

Hello everyone. I hope that you are all doing well. This past month has been full of rest for me. I feel so much better, although after going through surgery my blood sugar was up again and I'm having some trouble getting it back to where they want it. My eyesight isn't where I want it to be either, but I think I can work with it.

Last week I started working on a new kit to put in the store when I come back. There will also be a freebie that goes with it that I will be posting on here. My plans are to be back by October 2nd. I love the fall and winter seasons, and I can't wait to design kits for them.

I decided to leave the blog up for now. There were several people who emailed me asking me to not delete my old posts. So for now, it will stay.

Thanks for stopping by and checking in on me, I will be back soon. Have a great day!

I have been sitting around taking it easy, but today I couldn't help myself. Yesterday I purchased the kit, No Monsters Under My Bed, from one of my favorite designers Lorie Davison. Today, I sat and created a few layouts and thought I would share them with you.

This is of my grandsons Landon and Richard. They were sitting down together watching a movie and I got this cute snapshot of them.

Here is Landon playing with one of his trains.

I loved this monster element and couldn't wait to create this page. Unfortunately my eyes still aren't that great so the extractions aren't that good, but I still like it.

Richard is such a little cutie. There are times when I wish I could put him up in the cupboard and keep him little. But since you can't do that with children, I thought this was the next best thing.

This is Richard looking in on the monsters. There are so many times that he wants to play with the things his older brother does, but he's not old enough yet. This layout reflects him "watching" instead of playing.

Our grand daughter Alissa is such a cutie. She is such a beautiful little "girl", but she's also a big tomboy.

I always loved this picture of Alissa. It is such an honest smile, she was just overflowing with excitement in this picture.

This is a picture of our oldest daugther Shannon (22), and our youngest daughter Allison (16, almost 17). We had been waiting forever for rain. We had severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado warnings the other day so Shannon and the boys came over to our house. Shannon and Allison decided that they would run down the side of the road and jump in all the mud puddles. Between the puddles and the rain they were soaking wet. They had a great time though. When they came in they headed for the kitchen to take a couple of snapshots of their soaked selves. Do our kids ever grow up? No, thank goodness! What a wonderful way for sisters to hang out.

Allison loves to make faces when you take pictures of her. Once in a while your lucky enough to get that wonderful shot of her beautiful smile, or atleast a 'normal look'.

Ricky is growing up so fast. Last year he didn't have any problems letting me take pictures of him, but lately he hates it. So when I go to take pictures of him now I have to be sneaky and do it when he's not looking.

Please remember that I will be deleting all of my posts on August 1st, so if there is a freebie that you want, you only have a couple of more days to grab it. After August 1st they will no longer be available.

Thanks for stopping to look, have a great day!

Just a quick post to let you know that I came home from the hospital yesterday and that I'm doing ok. I'm pretty sore and tired, but other than that I'm ok. Thank you to everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers.
